Jaane Jaan follows Maya D’Souza, a single mother from Kalimpong town of West Bengal portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan who tries to cover up the murder of her estranged husband with help from her neighbour. Vijay Varma plays a police officer who is searching for the estranged husband of Maya D’Souza. However, there is a twist in the story as not everything is as it seems to be.
