Shah Rukh Khan is a delight to watch in the dual role of father and son and Lady Superstar of South, Nayanthara has aced her role with perfection. The interesting premise and commendable cinematography makes this action thriller an enjoyable experience that deserves to be watched in the theatres.

Jawan Movie Review – Plot
Jawan follows a man driven by a personal vendetta to rectify the wrongs in the society. He goes to extreme lengths to keep his promise which he made years ago. In his quest of eradicating the wrong from the society he comes up against an outlaw who has no fear and is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants. This more or less defines the plot of Jawan and one can sense that the interesting definitely sounds promising.
We can assure that the plot is woven in an interesting manner and you would not feel bored even though the film runs for almost three hours. Jawan shifts from one scene to another with a quick pace and the viewers are always anticipating the events to come. There is not a dull moment in the film.
Jawan Movie Review – Cast
Shah Rukh is seen in a dual role of Vikram Rathore and Azad Rathore in the film. He plays the father and son and aces the various aspects of his role with perfection. Fans would love to see the many avatars of Shah Rukh in the film. He is kind of a menace but still an adorable figure in the film.
Nayanthara, the lady superstar of South is a sight to behold in this film. In her Bollywood debut, she looks extremely beautiful in all the shots and her acting is icing on the cake. Definitely more to come for her in the Hindi film industry.
Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist Kalee with a sense of ominous power. He is certainly growing to be one of the best villains in the Indian film industry. He is a scene stealer in Jawan with his insanely power packed dialogue delivery.
Cameos from Deepika Padukone, Thalapathy Vijay and Sanjay Dutt are quite noticeable and contribute to the overall plot of the film. The girl gang including Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra and the others is also quite fascinating to watch. Sanya Malhotra also plays a key role but we would have loved to see some more of her in the film.

Jawan Movie Review – Direction & Cinematography
Atlee is a solid filmmaker and his direction shines in this film. He has managed to bring out a different side of Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. Atlee has also handled the minor characters with perfection leaving you with the feel that everyone was adequately utilised. However, Sanya Malhotra was the only one who we feel was a bit underutilised in the film. Cinematographer G.K. Vishnu has also done a great job and you will feel the action is quite sublime and free flowing in the film.
