Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, an upcoming Indian Telugu-language epic action thriller film, is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The lead roles are undertaken by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, supported by a stellar ensemble including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju. Notably, Prabhas is set to exhibit his versatility by portraying dual roles in the film. Salaar has created a huge buzz even before its release and the non theatrical rights of the film have been sold at a whopping price of Rs 350 Crore.

Salaar Netflix Release Date and OTT Rights Price

Salaar will release in the theatres across India on December 22, 2023. The film is expected to make its digital debut on Netflix in March 2024. According to the latest reports Netflix has acquired the rights of Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire for a whopping price of Rs 175 Crore.

Salaar TV Rights and Price

Salaar TV rights have been acquired by Star TV Network for all languages version. The cost of the satellite rights is estimated to be Rs 175 Crore. The film has already recovered a huge part of its budget before its release in the theatres.

Salaar is made on a massive budget of Rs 400 Crore, making it one of the most expensive films ever made on India. It is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur.

Salaar Movie Story

In the city of Khansaar, Raja Mannaar intends to designate his son, Vardharaja Mannaar, as the next leader. However, a conspiracy unfolds as Rajamannar’s ministers and advisors orchestrate a coup d’état, hiring armies from Russia and Serbia to eliminate Vardharaja and seize control of Khansaar. Escaping the peril, Vardharaja seeks refuge with his childhood best friend Deva, who, upon learning of the plot, endeavors to secure Vardharaja’s position as the unchallenged successor of Khansaar.
